This painting shows two dreaming stories that explain how some rockholes and other sacred places around the land were created: The Warnampi Jutjarra (two snakes), father and son, fled through such places as Yackabindie Lake, Wiluna, Jigalong, through country the other Side of Karrilwarra, through to Wintjalkarrara, Multju, PurlPurlPungu, Warultjil, Snake Well, Piyul and then away to Pukarra.
The Wati Kutarra (Two Mythic Men) that could turn into goannas, were traveling across the country to the East of Warburton Ranges and they came to Winpul, close to Jameson. They lay down and created two water soakages
