This painting is about the dreaming story of the Kungkarrangkalpa (Seven Sisters). These ancestral spirits travelled across the country gathering food and placing rocks in specific sacred places while they were being chased by an old magician (Yula) for the purpose of marriage. While six of the Sisters were making food (Mirka), the youngest one went to look for water and got attacked by the magician. Her Sisters came to save her and all of them ascended into the sky and became stars.
