Strategic and Corporate Documents
The Corporate Business Plan, together with the Strategic Community Plan, is the Shire of Ngaanyatjarraku’s Plan for the Future (SCP/CBP) 2021-2031 and has been prepared to achieve compliance with the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996.
The Strategic Community Plan (SCP) is a long-term overarching document that sets out the vision, aspirations and objectives of the community. Strategic planning is a recurring process, requiring constant refinement and every second year a minor review will be performed.
The Corporate Business Plan (CBP) identifies specific priorities and actions at an operational level.
Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework
The Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework (IPR) is a nationally consistent approach to local government planning for service delivery. The main focus of IPR is to establish local priorities and link this information to operational functions.
Council’s minimum obligations relating to planning for the future (IPR) are listed in S5.56 (1) of the Local Government Act 1995.
